Introduction

Traditional teaching methods could be more engaging for students, leading to boredom and decreased motivation. Teachers need to solve this important issue, and the best way to do this is by introducing gamification in education.

The first instance of gamification is linked to Dmitri Mendeleev, the scientist who created the Periodic Table framework. He loved playing card games and wrote each element and its key properties on a card for easy retention.

If this technique is adopted in schools, it will help students achieve more in their studies. How? That is what we will discuss in the rest of this article.

What is Gamification in Education?

To understand the concept of gamification, it’s important to first define what a game truly is. A game is an interactive system that starts with players being assigned abstract challenges under specific rules and ends with a quantifiable outcome.

This activity is often accompanied by excitement and engagement because it stimulates both extrinsic and intrinsic motivation in players.

Teachers want their students to feel the same way about their studies, but students don’t find the traditional teaching style interesting.

To address this, the stakeholders decided to take advantage of the rise of education software by integrating the fundamentals of gaming into the learning process.

The aim is to stimulate both extrinsic and intrinsic motivation in students while learning. This Is called gamification in education.

Benefits of Gamification in Education

1. Motivational Boost

One of the problems in schools today is the lack of academic engagement among students. This is because the students have no motivation to participate in the learning process.

education motivation

The role of motivation in the student’s success cannot be overstated, and teachers have an important role to play in this.

They have to ensure their students are motivated to learn, work hard, and push themselves to excel. One way to achieve this is through the gamification of learning processes.

With gamification comes grading systems like leaderboards, badges, and points that keep students engaged through the learning process.

One of the many tools used in the classrooms today to encourage active participation is Socrative. With its “Space Race” feature, teachers can divide their class into teams and have them compete against each other in a quiz.

Students are very competitive, but if the activity is conducted in a healthy way, it removes any form of pressure they may have, turning the competitiveness into an advantage.

2. Adaptive Learning

Adaptive learning is one of the main benefits of gamification in education. Gamification makes individualized learning styles possible in the classroom, making the learning process more inclusive for every student.

With tools like Socrative, Kahoot!, and Duolingo, a teacher can adjust the learning material’s content, pace, and difficulty based on the performance and preferences of each student.

Hence, a group of students who are yet to fully grasp the idea of series and sequences can get simpler questions while the other group works with questions that meet their level of knowledge.

The two teams or individual students will complete the course but at their individual pace, moving gradually between difficulty levels.

3. Improved Retention and Recall

Anyone who has ever played a game before understands the allure of trying to improve one’s “High score” because we know we have what it takes to do better. Gamification brings this allure into the classroom.

education software

Like in games, this learning style offers replayability, encouraging students to keep practising in order to improve their scores on the leaderboard. This results in better retention and recall of the course content.

Brainscape, for example, uses a technique called “confidence-based repetition”, where a flashcard is given to each student, and the flashcard is upgraded as their scores get better.

The card is designed to be appealing and fun to use, making the learning process more enjoyable. Thereby promoting the retention of the learning material.

This approach taps into the human’s innate desire to be better. When done properly, teachers can dramatically increase retention among their students with gamification.

4. Improved Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills

Gamified classwork, quizzes, or homework encourages students to attempt questions in creative and critical manners without the fear of criticism.

This could be done by giving questions that require out of the box thinking, such as creating a virtual reality room and asking students to solve clues that would help escape the room.

According to the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, gamification improved students’ achievement by 89.45% compared to traditional teaching methods.

The most popular software used for developing this kind of quiz is Microsoft’s MimioConnect. MimioConnect is an online blended learning platform that allows teachers to augment instruction, making it easier for them to teach and students to learn.

With Mimioconnect, teachers can build game-like elements in quizzes or tests that can be scored and recorded as assessments.

By integrating gamification into education, teachers are discovering new ways to develop engagement, critical thinking, and collaboration among their students.

5. Real-Time Feedback

Gamification in education allows students to get real-time feedback on their performance and makes them understand where improvement is needed.

The feedback instills a growth mindset in the students, and when combined with a rewarding system like badges or verbal praises, it makes the learning process more engaging. It gives the students the assurance that their efforts and achievements are noticed.

Benefits of Gamification in Education

There are many Edtech tools that serve this purpose and one of them is MagicBox, an online gamified learning platform that can help teachers generate multiple-choice quizzes and provide immediate feedback about the learning process of each student.

It was developed by MagicEdTech, the 2024 winner of the 1EdTech Power Learner Award. This prestigious award highlights how big a role they play in transforming the EdTech Industry.

Wrapping Up: Where Improvement is Needed

While gamification in education has many benefits to it, there are places where improvement is needed. Among them is a proper consideration of learning materials in the usage of the gamified tools. Gamification should be a thoughtful process, not a superficial engagement.

Education stakeholders need to put systems in place to ensure teachers are using these tech tools adequately. The usage must be properly integrated into the school curriculum so that it doesn’t become a distraction.

Lastly, the stakeholders should work towards making gamified Edtech tools accessible to all students, especially those with limited access to the technology.

Introduction

Before the rise of education software, the most effective teaching method was ‘teach to the middle.’ This method was developed to balance teaching since students in a classroom are expected to have varying skill levels and learning abilities.

Although it helped to some extent, it did not help students achieve their maximum potential. With the rise of Education software, Students can now sit in the same classroom with the same teacher and learn at their own pace.

Today, Education software like Dreambox uses machine learning to gain insights into individual students’ strengths, needs, and preferences. These tools, like robots are changing the EDTech industry, resulting in improved academic performance and heightened student engagement.

4 Ways AI is Personalizing Learning Experiences

1. Adaptive Learning

The traditional curricula that we’ve been used to are static. However, with adaptive learning, the curricula become dynamic, evolving with each learner’s capabilities and understanding.

AI-powered adaptive learning tools analyze information about each student’s struggles and strengths to adjust the pace of delivery and course content accordingly. This approach results in better retention and improved overall learning outcomes.

adaptive learning

The role of AI in achieving adaptive learning isn’t just customizing course content; it ensures active engagement with the course content. A popular example of a software that has successfully integrated adaptive learning is DreamBox Math. This K-8 online educational software is built to create immersive and interactive maths lessons that make learning fun.

With DreamBox Math, you will get valuable adaptive learning solutions proven by several third-party organizations to accelerate student math growth and achievement.

2. Support for Special Education

Another way AI is improving learning experiences is through education softwares that provides support for special education.

Some students have distinct learning needs in the classroom due to physical, mental, emotional, or behavioral conditions. The traditional class setting doesn’t often help them, but AI can help address their challenges.

For instance, we now have AI-powered speech recognition software like PODD Communication Books, which teachers can use to help students who cannot communicate effectively.

special education

PODD is a symbol-based communication system developed for non-verbal individuals. The student can select images, words, or short phrases from the books to instantly generate sentences on a tablet or device to express themselves.

Similarly, AI-powered predictive text tools, like Co: Writer, help dyslexic students with their writing. They suggest likely words based on what the student has typed so far, reducing spelling challenges.

These AI tools are not only making education accessible to students with special needs but also ensuring that they can participate as much as every other student in the class during the learning process.

3. Intelligent Tutoring Systems

Another achievement of AI in personalizing learning experiences is through Intelligent tutoring systems.

It is expected that a student will experience difficulty with a topic that others are already good at. Intelligent tutoring systems can help the student without slowing down the learning process of other students. This tool serves as a private tutor for the student.

Intelligent tutoring systems have engaging features like gamification that make the learning process interactive. In fact, with these tools, students can virtually talk to the AI tutor, providing them with one-on-one guidance. Since these tools are available 24×7, i.e., even after class, students can get the help they require whenever needed.

One of the common intelligent tutoring tools in America is Khanmigo, developed by Khan Academy. It serves as a virtual tutor and debate partner for students and can be used by teachers to create lesson plans for individual students.

intelligent tutoring system

According to Forbes research, 97% of students favor having an intelligent tutoring system, and only a few expressed disagreement. Thanks to Microsoft making Khanmigo free for teachers, every school can integrate intelligent tutoring systems into their learning process.

4. Personalized Evaluation and Assessment

After learning, there has to be an assessment. AI is not only used to learn in a fun way, it is also used to conduct periodic evaluations of the knowledge acquired during the learning process.

With AI, teachers can develop assessments specific to each student’s optimal challenge level and give feedback to each student—a process that used to require many teaching hours.

One common educational software for personalized evaluation and assessment is Class Companion. With Class Companion, the teacher can develop personalized lessons, worksheets, and assignments. It also allows teachers to choose the assignment format, whether multiple-choice, short-answer, or math/coding problems.

When students submit practice work via the Class Companion app or browser, they immediately receive feedback on their answers, with detailed explanations for why responses are right or wrong. They can resubmit answers to practice challenging problems.

With AI, evaluation, and assessment are transformed from a tedious and non-interactive process into a seamless and interactive one, helping students achieve their maximum potential.

Wrapping Up: The Future of AI-Powered Personalized Learning

The future of education is promising as AI continues to personalize learning experiences. However, we must understand that embracing AI doesn’t mean replacing teachers. Nothing can replace high-quality human-to-human interaction. AI will evaluate that interaction and use it to improve the quality of education delivered by teachers.

In fact, one key area that needs serious attention is the training of educators on how to use AI tools like education softwares to improve traditional teaching practices.

This further proves that the importance of artificial intelligence in education is needed to provide interactive learning experiences to students in the classroom. This can be done by using AI-generated robots to transfer data that can be personalized to each student’s needs and queries. Perhaps we will have an AI-powered tutoring system that considers students’ interests, abilities, socio-emotional state, and long-term goals to create personalized curricula.

We can also look forward to a world where education is modified for students all over the world, regardless of geographical or socioeconomic barriers, to have access to high-quality learning resources. This means a student in a third-world country can have the same quality of education as a student in a first-world country. This isn’t a distant reality; it’s the direction we’re heading.

Byju’s insolvency case is now threatening to unsettle India’s tech startup sector. Reuters reported that thousands of panic-stricken employees are now seeking to protect their careers and recover their dues due to the case.

Byju’s was once India’s largest startup with a market valuation of $22 billion. The startup had attracted global investors and gained popularity for providing online courses during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, it’s now caught up in a dispute with US investors seeking $1 billion in unpaid dues.

A Troubled Past

Byju’s insolvency story started earlier this year. In July, the startup faced insolvency for failing to pay its board dues amounting to $19 million. In recent years, the edtech startup has suffered many setbacks, including boardroom exits and a tussle with investors.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India filed a complaint with the India Companies Tribunal. The tribunal ruling commenced Byju’s bankruptcy proceedings which included the appointment of an interim resolution professional to oversee the management of the company after the board of directors was suspended.

Byju’s investors have accused the startup founder and CEO, Byju Raveendran, of lapses in corporate governance, collapse in valuation, and job cuts. Byju’s is battling the insolvency case as it seeks to regain control. In the papers filed in court, the company warned of a total shutdown as the insolvency case continues.

Last week, India’s Supreme Court declined Byju’s request to stop the insolvency process.

Employee Fears

Byju’s insolvency case affected many parents and employees. A review of WhatsApp chats and interviews by Reuters revealed growing desperation as affected people plan to take action against the edtech company, whose assets have been frozen.

A lot of people, including myself, have stopped taking classes because there’s no point doing charity for the company anymore,” Byju’s employee, Sukirti Mishra said.

Mishra taught mathematics at Byju’s and was earning $1200 each month. After halting classes, she faces anger from parents whose children she taught on the edtech platform. Having gone unpaid for months now, she struggles to pay medical bills and make loan repayments.

Byju’s 27000 employees have not been paid for three months. Most of them are considering suing the company and protesting on the streets.

About 3000 employees have filed salary claims and provided bank statements since the tribunal appointed an interim resolution professional. Through an internal memo released this week, Raveendran sought to array employees.

Our company is on the verge of reversing the negative business cycle that began two years ago, showing clear signs of recovery. I guarantee this: When we regain control, your salaries will be paid promptly,” he said.

Tough Road Ahead

But the road ahead could be long and tough for Byju’s employees as it could take months to liquidate company assets or get a new buyer. There are no legal guarantees that the workers will ultimately recover their dues.

An estimated 280 workers have asked a state grievance panel to take action on their unpaid salaries. In a letter dated August 5, the employees accused Byju’s of failing to remit taxes deducted from their salaries to the government.

We are deeply concerned about the company’s financial stability, our fear is that the company may be planning to shut down operations without settling our dues,” the employees wrote.

Byju’s customers fear that they’ll not be able to recover their money. The edtech startup has a 150 million student membership across 21 countries. Its programs cost between $100 and $300, with the majority being sold on loans.

Byju’s insolvency is set to be the largest in India’s tech startup landscape. Over the years, the industry has attracted investors such as Tiger Global and SoftBank.

Renaissance Next gives me a quick glimpse of where my kids are, where they need to go, and what I need to do. It provides all of these tools that make my job so much easier, including the ability to differentiate down to individual student needs.” Carbondale Elementary School District 95 Third-Grade Teacher and Renaissance Next Beta Tester, Julia Witges said.

Leveraging AI

The new teacher experience platform has been tested by thousands of teachers who use Renaissance products. The platform presents data for individual students. This data can be used to inform education decisions for an entire district. Feedback received from teachers informed the Renaissance Next design.

We plan to embed insights from Renaissance Next across our district and systems. It complements our strategic plan for the 2024–2025 school year, which involves helping students understand their own data and progress, and setting their own goals, with support from and in consultation with their teachers,” Carbondale Elementary School District 95 Superintendent, Janice Pavelonis said.

Renaissance’s powerful new teacher experience tool leverages AI to provide differentiated instruction insights and recommendations to teachers. During the development of Renaissance Next, the edtech company used AI to catalog its huge library of pre-K12 practice activities and instructional resources to make them readily accessible to teachers.

The Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) has warned that SIIA Title II compliance will be expensive. K12 Dive reported that Title II has a rule on online content accessibility. This rule requires EdTech companies and school districts to invest a considerable amount of money and time to comply.

Research by University of Chicago shows that EdTech substitutes tutoring time with high-quality educational content. The content is delivered through technology. EdTech enables institutions to reduce educational costs by a third. It also cuts back the number of tutors in schools by 50%. It does this without compromising on the impact of tutoring on students.

The Cost Aspect

The SIIA represents the digital content and software industry. The U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) estimates that the time-consuming Title II Compliance will cost $1.134 billion for K-12 classroom courses. $5.5 billion will be required for post-secondary courses.

School districts will have to remediate current third-party websites. These processes are expected to cost an extra $113.8 million. A further $93.6 million will be required for higher education.

Web Content Guidelines

The Title II rule requires public institutions to adopt Version 2.1 of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. This compliance standard will ensure that mobile apps, websites, and digital textbooks have the right accessibility features. These features include images, text, videos, animation, sounds, and controls that are accessible.

Accessibility features may include web content used to support keyboard alternatives. These alternatives are necessary for mouse commands where users have limited manual dexterity. Visually impaired users need them to resize text. The standard also applies to posts on social media.

Several exceptions will be made to Title II compliance SIIA. For instance, social media posts that exist before the rule takes effect will not be affected. Content published on government websites or mobile applications by third-parties will not be affected.

Compliance Deadline

DoJ’s Title II rules will take effect by the end of June 2024. But, public universities and schools have two to three years to comply.

Vendors providing services to state and local government entities should be ready as the compliance dates come near,” the paper stated .

SIIA Title II compliance depends on the size of population in a local jurisdiction or state. For instance, if a K-12 school is located in a city or county with 50,000 plus people, it should comply by April 24, 2026. Public universities in the same city would work with the same deadline. This is because they are state entities.

These timelines will change if K-12 school districts or community colleges in the same location have 49,999 or less. For these public institutions, the deadline for compliance will be April 26, 2027.

EdTech startup, Zen Educate has raised $37 million in a series B funding round. According to EU-Startups, the Zen Educate funding round is the largest in EU EdTech this year.

Led by Round2 Capital, this round of funding enlisted the support of investors who are already supporting the startup. These include Brighteye Ventures, Ascension Ventures, Adjuvo, and leading angel investors.

At the same time, Zen Educate has announced the acquisition of Aquinas Education, a teacher staffing agency. Both Zen Educate series B funding and the Aquinas Education acquisition place the EduTech startup squarely on the growth path. Zen Educate currently operates in 11 regions within the UK and 5 states in the US.

Zen Educate Teacher Shortage Crisis Solution

Founded in 2017, Zen Educate focuses on solving the teacher shortage problem in the UK and US. The company uses technology to connect teachers with schools. Just recently, research showed an imbalance between teacher demand and supply. According to the ADP Research Institute, demand for teachers in the US outweighs supply.

Zen Educate digitizes teacher recruitment by providing a digital platform where schools and teachers create profiles. The tech startup uses experience, skills, and proximity data to match the two parties according to their compatibility automatically.

“Zen Educate has been successful in solving a significant challenge faced by educational facilities on a daily basis. The team’s deep understanding of the EdTech landscape is evident,” Round2 Capital CEO and C-Founder, Christian Czernich said.

Through the Zen Educate platforms, schools hire full-time teachers. Teachers use the platform to find part-time teaching jobs that suit them.
Zen Educate CEO and Co-Founder, Slava Kremerman said, “Educators are looking for greater flexibility in their work, and thus, there is a greater need for flexible working solutions in education like Zen Educate.”

In the last year, teachers have delivered over 2 million hours of education through the Zen Educate platform.

Scaling Up Through SaaS Products

The EdTech startup will be using the funds raised through the Zen Series B round of funding to expand operations in the US and UK. Part of this will involve completing various acquisitions. The company will also be scaling up its workforce management software to include SaaS products to enable schools to manage compliance, credentials, and absence better.

“We’ve been on a mission to solve schools’ workforce challenges. This investment brings us closer to our goal of helping the education system save over $100 million annually through our fairer, more efficient recruitment model. As we enter into the next phase of our journey, we aim to reach out to more educational institutions across the UK and US,” Kremerman added.

Zen Educate has demonstrated stable growth since its launch. Currently, the startup has a workforce of 300. In 2019, Zen Educate received the Standard in Recruitment (SiR) accreditation and has been featured on the Deloitte Fast 50 and FT 1000.

Introduction
A few decades ago, robots were nothing more than fiction characters in science. This is no longer the case. As technology advances, robotics continues to push the envelope across different industries. The education industry is no different. Robotics in education has proven to be an invaluable resource for students, teachers, and parents.
Increasingly, robotics is used to enhance development of cognitive skills among students while empowering them with robotic and programming knowledge. This article explores educational robotics and unpacks the role it plays in improving learning.

What is Educational Robotics?

Educational robotics is a discipline that introduces students to the world of programming and robotics at a young age. Robotics in EdTech emphasizes practice rather than theory. Integrating robots in primary education means that students are provided with everything they need to build and program robots that can perform different tasks. In higher levels of education, advanced robots are used.
This education model is used to teach STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education in schools.
 Educational Robotics

Role of Robotics in Education

Robots are not just theories, they are already performing tasks in different industries. Robotics in education empowers students with requisite skills that are needed in a technological world. Besides helping in different industries, robots are innovative tools that help kids learn new concepts and acquire valuable skills through exciting recreational activities.
Since robotics is futuristic, robots stimulate curiosity. This encourages logical thinking and builds concentration in students. These skills prepare students for the world of work where automation and robotics are increasingly becoming prevalent.

What Types of Robots are Used in Education?

Robotics in education utilizes robots that are designed specifically for educational settings. Robots come in varying forms. Some are big and can interact socially with students. Others are small and programmable, students can code them. Robots that have been equipped with artificial intelligence are also used in the EdTech industry. AI allows such robots to respond to students in real-time and adapt to the learning environment.
There are four types of educational robots that are currently being used in classrooms today. Each comes with unique capabilities and features to support learning for varying age groups as follows:

Humanoid Robots

These are designed to mimic humans and are capable of performing different tasks. Humanoid robots help to teach robotic concepts like locomotion, balance, and motion.

Pre-built Robots

Unlike humanoid robots, pre-built robots are quite basic. They are fully programmed and easy-to-use robots designed for young children. Pre-built robots can be used to teach kids simple tasks like avoiding obstacles and following lines. They introduce children to foundational programming concepts.

Modular Robots

These are used to teach complex robotic concepts like dynamics, kinematics, and mechanical engineering. They utilize multiple modules that students can assemble into varying configurations.

Programmable Robots

These are used to teach students coding and robotic concepts like motors, sensors, and controllers. They have actuators and sensors to enable them to perform complex tasks. Students assemble and program them during learning.

How Robotics is Changing the EdTech Industry and Improving Learning

Role of Robotics in Education

Robotics in EdTech is transforming how teachers teach and how students learn. Below are five ways this discipline is improving learning:

1. Supporting Interactive Learning

Educational robotics leverages interactive learning. Students work on robot projects together. This builds their communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills while helping them to appreciate individual strengths.

2. Making Education Accessible

Robots can be programmed to meet the individual needs of a child. This makes provision of special education accessible and easier. Through robotics children with special needs like autism, attention disorder, and other developmental challenges can focus and develop social and communication skills.

3. Generating Interest in STEM Subjects

The use of robots in the classroom builds student interest in STEM subjects and helps them see how those subjects apply in the real world.

4. Non-Judgmental Learning

The use of educational robotics in the classroom reduces judgment and embarrassment for students because, unlike humans, robots don’t judge or feel. Although their ability to act with intention or form opinions is low, robots have emotion recognition capabilities.
This enables them to provide non-judgmental outlets for emotional expression. This way, they can support children when they experience homesickness or cultural adjustment challenges.

5. Personalizing Learning

Robots help students and teachers overcome the one-size-fits-approach challenge. Since they are capable of adapting different teaching methods, they can be programmed to support students to learn or practice more depending on their learning styles and abilities. This personalized mode of learning allows students to get instructed in ways that resonate with their needs and preferences.

6. Higher Knowledge Retention

Educational robotics focuses more on practice than theory. It gives students global perspectives through virtual interactions, field trips, and exposure to issues in different parts of the world. These experiences help students to retain more knowledge than they would in conventional learning approaches.

What are the Benefits of Educational Robots?

Robotics in education offers numerous benefits for students, here are 3 major ones:

1. Promotes Hands-On Learning

Robotics allows students to learn by doing. Students are introduced to tech and science concepts in a practical way, empowering them with mechanical, electronic, and coding skills. This hands-on learning helps them understand theoretical concepts better.

2. Builds In-Demand Skills

Educational robots enable students to build skills like problem-solving, programming, and coding that are in demand in the job market in an engaging, fun way. Developing these skills early will help them succeed in their careers in future.

3. Prepares Students for the Workplace

Technology has become an integral part of the workplace. Robotics is already driving transformation in every sector. In the EdTech industry, robots give students a solid computational thinking and programming foundation that will enhance their understanding of emerging technologies in future.

Wrapping Up

Robotics in EdTech is changing the way students learn and retain knowledge rapidly. In the modern-day digital world, this approach can build STEM skills in students and adequately prepare them for future jobs. It can also expand opportunities for children with special needs and make education accessible to them based on their learning needs and styles.
In addition to providing technical skills, robotics in education also helps students develop a range of transferable skills like problem-solving, collaboration, teamwork, and logical thinking. These skills are what they need to succeed in life and the workplace.

Introduction

Hi there gamers! If you’re looking to buy a gaming laptop and are unsure about what to look for, so it means you are on the right platform. This article is just written for you, as we have listed the 5 things to consider when buying a gaming laptop. The article covers plenty of basics and should be able to answer most of your questions.

Gaming laptops are a necessity for gamers who want to enjoy the best gaming experience, also you can look at some $1500 gaming laptops that are best for all gamers.

The laptop is one of the most important parts of a gaming setup because it is the only computer that you have with you when you are on the go. The right laptop can make your gaming experience more immersive and smoother, while also giving you more power and versatility, which in turn will allow you to play all kinds of games.

If you’re looking for a new laptop for gaming, then here’s what to consider at the first mind mapping:
– What kind of games do I want to play?
– How powerful should my processor be?
– How much RAM do I need?
– What screen size should my laptop have?
– How much storage space should my laptop have?

All above them, as we have limited capacity to tell you as with a lengthy article you yourself will avoid we have listed 5 basic things to consider when it comes to buying a new gaming laptop.

Here starts the GO.

Gaming Laptop

Here Are The 5 Things To Consider When Buying A Gaming Laptop

1) Screen Size / Resolution

Screen size is the most important factor that determines the display quality of a device. Screen resolution is a measure of how many pixels can be displayed on a screen. It is measured in pixels per inch. The higher the number, the better the quality of the display.

The larger the screen size, the better it will be for playing games. However, some people prefer to have smaller screens because they can carry them around easily and it’s also easier to use them with one hand only.

Screen Resolution:
Screen resolution is the capacity of the device to give clear output. The higher the screen resolution, the better and more fascinating it will be for people who are watching videos or playing games on their laptop because they will get clearer images.

Screen Size / Resolution

2) Ports

While screens & ports may not seem to have a direct impact on you, they do nonetheless. For instance, if you buy a laptop with too few ports to accommodate your peripherals, such as a gaming mouse or headset, within a short time the experience will no longer feel right & it will have an adverse impact on your work.

Although you can work through such a situation with dongles and other accessories, this process is usually stressful. Rather than trying to add extra USB ports to your laptop, it’s better (and cheaper!) to find a model with them in the first place.

This directly means you have to give your new gaming laptop ports a scan earlier before you buy it.

3) CPU

The CPU is the brain of a computer or laptop. It is responsible for executing instructions, performing calculations, and controlling input and output devices.

This may sound simple enough but it’s actually an incredibly complex process that requires a lot of power to do it efficiently. The CPU is so important that many people believe it will be the most important component in laptops, and computers for the next few decades. So look over the processor of your laptop before you buy it, because with a low-power processor, you may have lagging issues.

4) Weight

Weight is an important factor when choosing a laptop. Laptops come in different shapes and sizes. It is possible to find a laptop that will suit your needs and weight preference.

The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is a powerful gaming laptop that is also slim and light. In fact, it’s the slimmest gaming laptop, weighing in at just 1.7 kg.

A lightweight laptop, for instance, is perfect for any gamer or people who travel often. They are also easier to carry around than heavier laptops. The downside of these laptops is that they have shorter battery life and may not be as durable as other laptops, so be careful when buying.

5) Battery Life

A laptop’s battery life is one of the most important features to consider when buying a new laptop, especially for playing games, because we know how much it is exhausting when you are just there to win the game while leading all opponents and there is a notification: BATTERY LOW!

There are many factors that can affect your battery life and it can be difficult to know how long your laptop will last on a single charge.

There are many factors that can affect your battery life. These include:
-The type of power sources you have, such as a power outlet or USB port
-How old the battery is and whether or not you use it often
-The kind of programs you’re running
-The brightness and color settings on your screen
-What kind of keyboard backlighting do you have
-Main importantly how much mAH your gaming laptop has?
and etc., but make sure to make it on your list to check how capable the battery is.

Conclusion:

We know and understand that navigating through all these options can prove to be confusing and intimidating if you’re not a tech-savvy person. The conclusion of this article in a nutshell is that you should always be careful when purchasing a laptop for gaming purposes. You need to know what you are looking for and what your budget is so that you can lead the rest out there with your best gaming laptop. We would love to know if you can tell us in which way our article helped you out buying your new gaming laptop, and do let us know if you think there is something more important that we are missing out on!
